STAHR Critical Design Review

Our hybrid rocket project STAHR is very pleased to announce that it successfully passed its CDR (Critical Design Review) at the end of July.

This took place at DLR Oberpfaffenhofen in the GSOC (German Space Operation Center), where among other operations the control center for the European Columbus module on the ISS is located. STAHR has thus reached one of its biggest milestones and is on the finish line for its launch at the end of 2024 in Esrange, Sweden. The entire team and the association are very much looking forward to seeing the first rocket of Space Team Aachen with a self-developed propulsion system take off. In the upcoming months STAHR will be manufacturing and assembling its sub-systems, so stay tuned for more content on our social media!
