Aquila Maris was part of Demo Mission #1 by the German Offshore Spaceport Alliance (GOSA). Shortly before the planned execution of the Mission, it was canceled by the GOSA due to a licensing issue with the UK government. Therefore, the Project was put on hold until a new opportunity to launch is found.
We not only want to thank the amazing team behind Aquila Maris for their dedication to this project and the mission but also our supporters and sponsors, who allow us to grow as an individual and an association to shape European spaceflight.
Even if the targeted launch was canceled Aquila Maris will rise to the Sky.
We are setting sights on a new launch opportunity, demonstrating the sea recovery capabilities of Aquila Maris and contacting European coastal spaceports to accomplish this mission.
