In the spring of 2023, STAHR successfully conducted its second engine test campaign at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. test centre M11 in Lampoldshausen, Germany.

Building on our experience from our sub-scale test facility at RWTH Aachen and the last test campaign at the M11 test facility, we successfully validated our battleship engine for the full liquid burn time 20 seconds. We also tested the addition of a mixing disc inside the combustion chamber to improve efficiency over the course of 6 engine tests during the two weeks the propulsion test team was in Lampoldshausen.
